Medicare turned 56 on July 30 - what better way to celebrate than to advocate for expansion of the program that has helped hundreds of millions of seniors to live with dignity and with guaranteed access to health care?
We'll be holding an Advocacy 101 Training to discuss how to effectively advocate and lobby your Representative to support this step forward in the health justice movement on August 17, 2021, 7 PM - 8 PM.
It's crucial that members of Congress hear from their constituents right now in support of strengthening and expanding Medicare through the “budget reconciliation” process to:
- Add hearing, dental, and vision coverage.
- Cap out-of-pocket expenses.
- Empower Medicare to negotiate lower prescription costs.
- Lower the eligibility age.
